Nintendo have announced a gaming expo that focuses on Nintendo gaming.

Nintendo Live Gaming Expo Announced for Japan this October

In October, Nintendo will be hosting Nintendo Live 2019 which centers around Nintendo games in Kyoto, Japan. The expo will feature playable demos, game tournaments and stage events. Tournaments will include Splatoon 2, Super Mario Maker 2 and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. There will also be a Splatoon and Super Mario Maker 2 music show.

Last year Nintendo held a Nintendo Live event in Japan but in November, which had dedicated events to ARMS Grand Prix and a Mario Tennis Aces Japan Open.

Recently Nintendo has announced that they have sold over 36 million Switch units since its release in March 2017. They have announced a new mode called the Nintendo Switch Lite last month.

Nintendo Live 2019 will take place on October 13th to 14th in Kyoto, Japan at the Kyoto International Conference Center.
