NieR is getting a beautiful new book, thanks to Kickstarter.

French publisher Third Editions today announced their met stretch goal on Kickstarter for Taro Yoko (NieR, Drakengard) to be written. It’s a book that details the background of NieR and the creative mind behind it.

The Work of Taro Yoko: From Drakengard to NieR: Automata!

Taro Yoko will be released in North America this year. Third Editions reached its $74,000 stretch goal with 20 days left in its Kickstarter run. This is thanks to 1,044 backers. So you’ll soon be able to get much more of an insight into what went into making NieR. But with more stretch goals left, there’s still a lot to play for. For example, $123,000 can hasten the English translation.
