Netflix will be adding a Ni no Kuni movie to it’s library of films later this month.

Ni no Kuni Movie Coming to Netflix

The movie which debuted in Japan back in August last year, never made it to international audiences, but that will soon change. Netflix will be adding the Ni no Kuni movie to their streaming platform on January 16th. The film is by the Studio Ghibli animator Yoshiyuki Momose who has worked on such titles as Spirited Away.

The movie follows “two average teens go on a magical quest to save the life of their friend and her counterpart from another world. But love complicates their journey.”

Ni no Kuni is based on the video game of the same name, and was produced by OLM as well as distributed by Warner Bros. in Japan on August 23rd 2019. It will be coming to the west for the first time letting all now enjoy the film. Netflix has been on a roll lately, and has recently helped boost concurrent gaming numbers for Witcher 3 with the recent release of it’s Witcher series.
