I’ve played it, and the game has about as many items as Dark Souls (and Dark Souls like gameplay actually).
It also has a number of mechanics that could really benefit from some numbercrunching, or at least sortation.
The game “needs” a wiki about as much as any other game on Fextralife, but I’m not specifically asking for one.
This was about forums, not wikis. In terms of wikis, I don’t think the game needs one and nobody asked me for one so we didn’t make one. Remember I need a few months notice for when you want us to have forums and wikis for specific games

I believe Fextralife has wikis for Salt and Sanctuary, Gwent and Monster Hunter World. All games I wouldn’t describe as butch and moody.
XCOM 2, Nioh, Nier Automata, Horizon Zero Dawn, Overwatch are also all games that don’t take themselves too seriously.
I think the game deserves a wiki, but IGN seems to have a handle on things, and wikia seems to pretend to have Ni no Kuni 2 wiki.
I did platinum this a couple weeks ago, before they patched the game to fix the one quest bug in the whole game, plus change the color of skirmish flags. If you already beat the skirmish, the flag is blue so you can skip it. That would have saved me hours of trying to distinguish the skirmishes you still have to beat.
I look forward to returning to NNK2 when the DLC drops.
I like cute too! But a lot of our audience is younger and prefers “cool”
I’m happy you’re enjoying Ni No Kuni II tho!
Just wanna say, that I LOVE this game, and I’m 47 y old, so Cutesy?.. Hmm… well.. I think ‘Cute’ is a good thing in games, bc they often make a good balance in the more hard-felt-topics themed jrpgs !.

Yes, the GoW trophy requires winning 50 unique skirmishes. I did not know that the game stats included replays in the total. That is bad. How are we to know what our cumulative count is, if replays, which do not count toward the trophy, are counted in the stats page. I think I only replayed one, to try to level up. Big mistake. Best way to level up skirmishes is to fight the ones that are 10 to 20 levels higher. Even if you fail 10 times, you accrue and keep XP so you level quickly.
Since you already 100%’d, do you remember where to find piping hot water, which is for a citizen quest. I’m stumped, unless it’s only available post-game.
So ive beaten the game, maxed out evermore, including building lvls, citizen capacity and each are a master of their trade.. all research has been finished, all side quests, etc etc. so now im trying to hit 100% but am unclear on the last remaining trophy I need, which is “god of war”. Does it require that you “overcome” 50 unique/seperate skirmishes, or what? My stats indicate ive won over 50.. however some were repeated or completed on hard mode.. so im assumin thats the case?
Well it is Ghibli+Level 5, so this wasn’t going to be Outlast. Interested in it as I Platinumed the first one a few months ago, but not in a hurry with my game backlog. Maybe in a few months…
Cutesy? How dare you! It’s a traditional JRPG so I love it. I’m going for the plat but there are no guides yet so I’m just playing blind and really enjoying the story.
My last 2 plats are Ys 8, which was really great, and Uncharted Lost Legacy. First time I played Crushing mode, yikes. I really enjoyed the Chloe/Nadine dynamic more than the last 2 games of Nate, and having a bit of Troy Baker is always awesome.
If anybody has a question, just reply to this thread and I’ll try to check back every night for awhile.
Sorry Elves I wasn’t expecting many community members to be interested in this because it’s more “cutesy” than a lot of our users admit to liking
I’ll keep the forum idea in mind for any upcoming launches, but feel free to start a Help thread on gaming general
more info will be added to it
I got a little excited and bewildered there could be a trophy guide so soon, but it’s really just a list of the trophies and a bare-bones recommendation. Are you going to add content or is that it?
FEX, if you start a NNK2 sub-forum, I’ll help answering questions and offer tips. I’m currently in Ch 6, need 6 more citizens to be able to upgrade Evermore to level 3. I just made it to Tomorrowland where I expect to find lots of new recruits, and I’m finally getting the hang of Skirmishing, which is poorly explained in-game.
