BioShock: From Rapture to Columbia comes with a rather nice dust cover. Would you kindly buy it?

Here is the official description of the book from it’s product page:

“In just three episodes, the BioShock series managed to score some big points amongst players’ hearts. Spiritual successor of System Shock 2, the first BioShock was an Irrational Games’ work, directed by Ken Levine. Set in the 50’s ambiance, with Art Déco levels, progression in BioShock is possible through open and smart game mechanics, inciting the player to be creative and to use its environment. The saga is also filled with many profound and philosophical themes, while involving the player in every of its aspects. The book is an in-depth investigation into the entire triptych, DLCs included, and offers a clear vision of the games’ development process, game design, stories, themes, influences and music.”

There are 192 pages in this new book. So, will that be enough to keep you busy until the next BioShock game has been officially announced?

  1. The first is still my favourite Lich180 but the other too are decent too. I own the collection as well. I think the one I should make more of an effort to play again is BioShock 2. I think I played it slightly too soon after the original and so wasn’t quite as impressed as I might have been. There were still some nice touches though.

I hope they do make another BioShock game. It’s too good a license to abandon.

  2. Looking back at Bioshock, I’m still impressed by the first game. The twist when you confront Andrew Ryan, and the realization of the truth of Rapture was just amazing.

I have the collection of Bioshock, I really should play the other 2.
