Amazon have announced that the Summer Medleyfaire will be New Worlds’ big summer themed event coming to the MMORPG soon.

New World’s Summer Medleyfaire will Bring Summer Fun to the MMO

Summer Medleyfaire was showcased in the latest developer post for the MMORPG New World. Described as bringing a celebration that “radiates summer fun”. The concept art shared shows some colourful visuals including a performance stage fit for a bard.

Other concept art pieces show the character Admiral Brute. A swashbuckling character with a seaweed beard, covered barnacles and complete with a crab claw.

The images depict a festive mood, with mini hot air balloons and the place aglow at night. The theme is inspired by both pirates and music, so New World players are in for a festive treat. Expect musical games, fishing and players will have a chance to unlock new items and starter instruments. So if your dream is to start a band in NM, this is what you’ve been waiting for with guitar, mandolin, bass, drums and azoth flute all being an instrument of choice.

The exact date for the event has not been released but will be coming “soon” but could be later this month. But if you can’t wait, you can get an early peek by experiencing it on the Public Test Realm (PTR) right now.

Not only will there be the Medleyfaire to keep you busy but a new Barnacle & Black Powder Expedition, this time putting players against Admiral Blackpowder and his crew. This will be end-game content and will arrive with three different mutators.
