A new trailer has been released for Punch-Out inspired boxing RPG, Mean Streets. The game’s visuals look a lot like Team Fortress 2.
New trailer released for boxing RPG, Mean Streets
Mean Streets has been in development for a long time. It was first revealed two years ago and for a long while, developer CraftShop Arts went quiet. Well, they’re back and have released a new trailer for Mean Streets. Check it out.
There’s only two developers at CraftShop, so development was always going to be slow. Originally they’d planned on making it a free-to-play game. However, that plan has now been abandoned and they’re targeting developing it as a premium game. It looks gorgeous and I’d happily pay for it. CraftShop are going to be seeking funding to further develop the game, so don’t be surprised if you see a Kickstarter campaign.
Here’s hoping that we won’t have to wait another two years before this game is released. What are your thoughts regarding Mean Streets? Could it be a contender for the title or is it a swing and a miss? Please comment below and let us know.
