Bethesda has released a new trailer today for Skyrim Special Edition that shows players some of the impressive visuals they have to look forward to when the remastered game arrives October 28th for PS4, Xbox One and PC. Though some of the footage is content seen through past demonstrations it does tack on the confirmed mods release for consoles.
Winner of more than 200 Game of the Year Awards, Skyrim Special Edition brings the epic fantasy to life in stunning detail. The Special Edition includes the critically acclaimed game and add-ons with all-new features like remastered art and effects, volumetric god rays, dynamic depth of field, screen-space reflections, and more. Skyrim Special Edition also brings the power of mods to the PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4.
The video shows some comparison screens of what the game looks like on last gen platforms and how it looks now, as well as some in action footage of the god rays, screen-space reflections, and water shaders, before concluding with the affirmation of bringing mods to both consoles.
