Square Enix has today announced a new high-speed competitive mecha action game, which is called Starwing Paradox.
Starwing Paradox announced by Square Enix
Starwing Paradox will feature online combat featuring up to sixteen players, who will engage in eight versus eight combat. It sounds like quite an impressive arena combat game.

We are promised “high-quality animation”. Character designs were done by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto, who worked on a huge number of animes and mangas such as Evangelion, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time and hack/Sign. So it should be pretty at least.

So far, there is no word regarding whether Starwing Paradox will eventually be coming to home consoles. If you fancy heading to Japan, you will be able to play it at Japan Amusement Expo 2018. Square Enix have only revealed an arcade cabinet version of the game. We’ll let you know as soon as we receive any further news regarding this one, so watch this space.
