Moonlighter the Shopkeeper RPG Free Content Roadmap 2018

Moonlighter developed by Digital Sun shares that they will be releasing free new content this year for the shopkeeping adventure RPG Moonlighter. Originally released last month it is available to play on Playstation 4, PC and Xbox One with a Nintendo Switch edition coming later in 2018.

Moonlighter Free Content Roadmap 2018

Digital Sun have revealed a roadmap that spans over the course 2018, featuring four new updates for Moonlighter. The updates include one coming this month called “More Stock Update”. This sets to include 50 new room patterns, new art for enchanted weapons as well as armour and new shop tutorials. There are also three further updates titled “Adventure Update”, “Companion Update” and “Trouble Update”.

The other three updates however have no specified time schedule but are believed to release this year as it’s under the 2018 roadmap. The next instalment “Adventure Update” will bring a greater challenge mode in New Game+ which adds greater difficulty.

The “Companion Update” will allow you to choose a companion to bring with you on dungeon adventures which up until now had been a solo occurrence. A custom game will be added feature which allow players to tweak certain parameters for a customisable game.

The last addition is the “Trouble Update” which sets to bring further mischief with new types of enemies and mini bosses. Adding Halloween themed decorations and more item effects, which could be hinting that this would be an October release.

While Digital Sun is also looking to add winter content, this will likely a paid DLC rather than a free update but plans are still in the making.

Moonlighter is currently available to play on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, with the Nintendo Switch version making it’s release later this year.
