Monster Hunter World Reaches Over 8 Million Copies Sold Before PC Launch

It’s just over a week when Monster Hunter World will be launching on the PC platform. With already gaining mass success on PS4 and Xbox One, it looks like Capcom have already gained large sales with over 8 million copies sold. Monster Hunter World will be coming to PC on August 9th 2018.

Monster Hunter World Reaches Over 8 Million Copies Sold Before PC Launch

In an announcement on the official Capcom website, the publisher shares that Monster Hunter World‘s physical shipments and digital have reach 8.3 million units sold across Playstation 4 and Xbox One platforms. This is a net sales increase of 46.5% year-over-year.

In their statement Capcom share the follow:

In this business, the phenomenal success of Monster Hunter: World (for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One) from the previous fiscal year continued, with the title gaining further popularity through the expansion of its user base. In scoring a worldwide smash hit, the series solidified its position as an international brand and strengthened our base of IP.

Monster Hunter World will be coming to the PC platform on August 9th, confirming the game will run in 4k at 60 fps with gamepad support. Pre-order are already available via Steam with pre-order bonuses available for those who purchase before the launch day.
