This Thursday at 8 pm Eastern Standard Time is when Capcom will rotate the event quests for players. Weekly event quests can offer players new armor pieces, increase drop percentages for items, increase hunter rank experience, and other various benefits. So lets investigate the upcoming events for this week and what they provide for hunters.
Week 1: June 28 to July 5
“The Deadly Quiet Curtain” 
- 9 ★ located in the Rotten Vale
- Players must be HR 50 or higher
- Player must slay a Arch Tempered Vaal Hazak.
- Players will obtain materials to forge the new Vaal Hazak Armor γ.
- This mission will last from June 22nd to July 5th.
“Triple Threat Showdown“
- 6 ★ located in the Special Arena
- Players must be HR 13 or higher
- Players must hunt a Dodogama, a Great Jargas, and a Great Girros.
- Event provides several decorations upon completion. (Good for low rank or as melding fodder)
“Effluvial Opera”
- 7 ★ located in the Rotten Vale
- Players must be HR 13 or higher
- Players must hunt a Great Girros, an Odogaron, a Radobaan, and a Bazelgeuse.
“A Simple Task“
- 9 ★ located in the Ancient Forest
- Players must be HR 30 or higher
- Player must deliver 10 Gourmet Shroomcaps
- Players will be able to find plentiful threat level 2 monster tracks
The best way to find the Gourmet Shroomcaps is head towards camp 8 or 11 as they have 2-3 Mushroom Colonies in a somewhat close proximity. Bring your gathering set to finish this quest even faster.
Week 1: July 6 to July 12
“Kirin The Myth“
- 5 ★ located in the Coral Highlands
- Players must be HR 8 or higher
- Player must slay 2 Kirins.
“Rock N’ Roll Recess”
- 7 ★ located in the Elder’s Recess
- Players must be HR 13 or higher
- Player must hunt a Dodogama, Lavasioth, Uragaan, and Azure Rathalos.
“No Tomorrow For Usurpers”
- 9 ★ located in the Elder’s Recess
- Players must be HR 30 or higher
- Player must hunt a Bazelguese.
- Players will obtain increase Hunter Rank Exp.
“Relish The Moment“
- 9 ★ located in the Ancient Forest and Elder’s Recess
- April 5th to April 11th for the Ancient Forest Location. While April 12th until April 20th for Elder’s Recess Location.
- Players must be HR 50 or higher
- Players must hunt a tempered Deviljho.
- Event provides a high chance obtain Gleaming, Warrior, and Hero Streamstones.
Challenge Quests
All of the following will be found in the Gathering Hub at the Arena Counter under Challenges;
“Nergigante Slay Event 1”
- 8 ★ located in the Arena
- Players must be HR 16 or higher
- Players must slay a Nergigante.
- This event lasts from March 22nd to May 10th
- Players will have the following weapon choices:
“Deviljho Slay Event”
- 7 ★ located in the Arena
- Players must be HR 15 or higher
- Players must slay a Deviljho
- Players will have the following weapon choices:
- Longsword
- Sword and Shield
- Dual Blades
- Insect Glaive
- Light Bowgun
“What Lurks In The Forest”
- 7 ★ located in the Ancient Forest
- Players must be HR 15 or higher
- Players must slay a Great Jagras, Anjanath, and Rathalos.
- Players will have the following weapon choices:
- Greatsword
- Sword and Shield
- Hammer
- Lance
- Bow
“The Best of The Best”
- 8 ★ located in the Arena
- Players must be HR 15 or higher
- Players must slay a Teostra, Kushala Daora, and Nergigante.
- Players will have the following weapon choices:
- Hunting Horn
- Gun Lance
- Switch Axe
- Charge Blade
- Heavy Bowgun
Challenge Quest 1: Beginner
- 2 ★ located in the Arena
- Players must be HR 2 or higher
- Players must slay a Kulu-Ya-Ku and a Pukei-Pukei
- Players will have the following weapon choices:
- Longsword
- Lance
- Insect Glaive
- Heavy Bowgun
- Bow
Challenge Quest 2: Expert
- 9 ★ located in the Arena
- Players must be HR 15 or higher
- Players must slay a Tempered Nergigante.
- Players will have the following weapon choices:
- Longsword
- Dual Blades
- Lance
- Gun Lance
- Light Bowgun
