According to Senior UK and Europe PR representatives for Capcom, the Monster Hunter World Iceborne expansion will “will rival the original release” meaning a hefty amount of content is on its way.
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Size “Will Rival The Original Release”
Capcom announced the release date their upcoming expansion for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne last week along with some new details. We get another detail according to a recent tweet by UK and Europe PR representative of Capcom, sharing the next expansion Iceborne will either be the same size as the original game or even bigger, saying it will “rival” the base game:

On PC currently the base game covers 30GB of disk space, meaning Iceborne could easily be around the same size. Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will release on PS4 and Xbox One on September 6th. PC version will release sometime in Winter 2019. If you want to try out MHW you can now with the free trial which ends May 20th and its on sale for $20 for a limited time only on PS4.
