Capcom reveal at the Tokyo Game Show 2019 that the first update for the expansion Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will be this October.
Monster Hunter World Iceborne First Major Update Launches October 10th
Monster Hunter World Iceborne will be receiving its first major update on October 10th. Previously Capcom revealed that the monster Rajang would be the first to join Iceborne in a post-launch update. Described as “an ultra-aggressive creature that few have a chance of surviving against” by Capcom, as well as sharing that it “sports powerful arms that pack a punch, and turns gold when angry.”
Rajang a Fanged Beast type monster which was first introduced in Monster Hunter 2, will be joining Monster Hunter World Iceborne. This will be part of a free title update in October.

Monster Hunter World is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, and the Monster Hunter World Iceborne expansion is available now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with a PC release releasing in January 2020.
