Capcom’s upcoming Monster Hunter: World action-RPG will receive free post-launch updates containing new monsters.
Monster Hunter: World – Free Monsters!
This information first surfaced during a talk the game’s producer, Ryozo Tsujimoto, had with Japanese publication Famitsu this past month. And personally confirmed it when asked during Sony’s recent PlayStation Experience 2017 livestream.
We are thinking about free, post-launch updates for Monster Hunter: World. What I can specifically say is that we plan to [add] new monsters and such in hopes that users play for a long time. As for what kind of monsters will be added and so on, information will be shared later on, so please look forward to it.

Monster Hunter: World was officially announced, with pre-order details, to launch worldwide for PS4 and Xbox One on January 26th, 2018, with a PC release following sometime later.

Oh, that’s neat. I don’t think they’ve added full blown monsters in the DLC before.
