Monster Hunter World 1.04 Patch Notes: Xbox One and PS4 Fixes

Capcom has now released the 1.04 patch for Monster Hunter World. The patch is available for PS4 and Xbox One versions of the monster slaying game.

Monster Hunter World Update: Patch 1.04

The patch includes a few bug fixes and game improvements. Although the exact download size isn’t known for the Xbox One version, PS4 players have been advised that they’ll need about 930 MB of free space to download it.

So, which weapon will you use to slay this ferocious beast? Make your choice quickly. It looks hungry.

Here’s a list of what the patch includes:

  • Fixed an issue whereby in some cases the assignment “The Encroaching Anjanath” wouldn’t appear on the quest board during online play.
  • Readjusts how Elderseal values are calculated.
  • It will also include a number of small bug fixes.

I hope that you’re good at dodging. I wouldn’t want to be rammed by this bad boy. Side-note, the monster designs are so good!

Monster Hunter World has already been a huge success, shipping over 5 million units worldwide. It’s so good to finally see a Monster Hunter game available on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Yeah man, I hear they’ve got viruses on that site that force-ably change your background to pictures of puppies.

  2. Hopefully it’s just a matter of time until there’s a PC port ckmishn. It seems like a no brainer at this point. As for this mysterious “Fextralife” that you speak of, I don’t know…it sounds a bit dodgy to me.

  3. Glad to see Monster Hunter World doing so well. Given it was almost certainly developed on PC (like practically every other 8TH gen game), and should now have big money behind it (5 million sold already? Damn!), the prospects for a good PC port are high. Still, that didn’t stock Arkham Knight from being a clusterf7*k.

If it is a decent port, that will be nice as I’ll likely have a decent system to play it on by then, and the game and guides online (including one of my favorite sites titled “fextralife.com”, which I encourage people to check out) should complement each other well.
