Monster Hunter Rise x Sonic Collab Arrives this Month

Monster Hunter Rise’s next collaboration will be with Sega’s Sonic the Hedgehog, coming to the Action-RPG this November.

Monster Hunter Rise x Sonic Collab Arrives this Month

Sega and Capcom are teaming up for the 30th Anniversary of the Sonic franchise, bringing a Sonic-inspired twist to Monster Hunter Rise this month. The collaboration the event will be releasing this November, and Capcop assures its on track by tweeting the crossover.

The official Capcom website currently has a teaser page that shares the anniversary outline bringing in Sonic the Hedgehog with new details coming soon. An event quest will celebrate the 30th anniversary.

The translated (Google translated) tweet reads:

A collaboration between “Monster Hunter Rise” and Sega’s “Sonic”, which celebrated its 30th anniversary this year! A collaboration event quest will be delivered on “Monster Hunter Rise” in November 2021! Please wait for the follow-up report for the details you are interested in.

Previously Monster Hunter Rise has had collaborations with Monster Hunter Stories 2, as well as another Sega franchise Megaman which brought the Rush to the game in the form of Palamute new layered armor in September. There was also the Even Quest for Capcom Collab 5 which featured Ghosts ‘n’ Goblins Resurrection with the hunter a layered armor of Arthur.

Monster Hunter Rise is currently available on Switch, also releasing on PC via Steam on January 12th 2022.
