Set for June 7th, the Final Digital Event will be happening for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak. Capcom have set the developer roundtable for June 7 at 7:00 a.m. PT / 10:00 a.m. ET. Fans of the monster-slaying game can tune in 30 minutes early for the pre-show.

The live stream will be going over all the details for the bonus update Version 16. This is the last one for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, so what does that mean? It means the developer could be ready to wind down the game and prepare for the next entry in the franchise. The teaser teases the “finale” but a new monster is still underway.

The Final Showdown

Monster Hunter Rise was released originally on the Switch on March 26th 2021. It later came to PC on January 12th. Then later to consoles PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series on January 20th. Sunbreak the expansion launched on November 24th on PC and Switch 2022. For consoles, Sunbreak was released on April 28th of this year.

Final Digital Event will go over details for Version 16.

Updates have been pretty regular for this entry. Providing free title updates PC and Switch that included major monsters such as Velkhana and for a higher challenge the Risen Crimson Glow Valstrax variant. The latest is Update 5 (Ver. 15) which brings the returning Elder Dragon Amatsu, plus the powered-up monster Risen Shagaru Magala. June will also see a bonus update with a variant monster.

Capcom previously released a roadmap which teases a bonus update coming June with a variant monster for Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak.

The teaser trailer shares that this will be the “finale of Rise and Sunrbreak” but it won’t be going out quietly but with a “bang”. There will be news, devs interviews and more.
