Good news for those wanting to get their hands on Hideo Kojima’s critically acclaimed finale to the Metal Gear Solid franchise, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, coming to PS+ subscribers on the PlayStation 4 next October.

MGS V: The Phantom Pain was the final project renowned game designer Hideo Kojima worked on at Konami, before parting ways and establishing his independent studio, Kojima Productions. It was also the follow up to the 2014’s Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes.
Next month’s PlayStation Plus lineup is will also include another big title, also for the PS4, and that is Frictional Games’ horror franchise, the Amnesia: Collection. Which is perfect for the upcoming Halloween festivities, and the collection comes bundled with:
- Amnesia: The Dark Descent (2010)
- Amnesia: Justine (2011)
- Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs (2013)
There are also some interesting indie cross-play titles such as the colorful Hue, where it’s your mission to restore color to the world and more:
- Monster Jam Battlegrounds (PS3)
- Hustle Kings (PS3)
- Hue (PS Vita & PS4)
- Sky Force Anniversary (PS Vita, PS4 & PS3)
The titles listed will be free for PlayStation Plus subscribers between October 5th to November 2nd. Also, part of the package, That’s You, which is one of the first titles in Sony’s new PlayLink program for games on mobile devices, and will expire as a free-with-Plus title on October 24.
