Players will face the boss Flame Stag in this stage, but before they reach the boss they will come up against a few enemies. Enemies will include Beetron, Barite Lastars and Morguns. I will explain what strategies to use in defeating each in this step-by-step guide.

Volcanic Zone

Volcanic Zone Stage

Head right and climb the cliff wall. There will be a Beetron players can jump onto their back to reach a Sub Tank. Continue climbing the wall and head right to progress the level. Take out the 3 Barite Lastars and quickly move up the Volcano’s shaft towards safety. There will be a Heart Tank upwards to the left, midway blocked by a breakable wall. Once you grab it and move on up. The lava will have to hurt players 3 times to kill them, so even if the lava catches up stay calm and keep moving up.

Beetron
Barite Lastar
Morgun

Head right jumping quickly on the sinking platforms to reach a wall. Climb the wall to enter the opening. Continue heading right past more sinking platforms. Players will reach a top area where they must climb upwards. There will be gas canisters on both walls as well as Morguns that can ignite the gas. Once players reach the top, Flame Stag is a short walk away.

Boss: Flame Stag

Flame Stag will often start the match by heading left and climbing upwards similarly to Sigma in Mega Man X. Wait for him to get back down and hit him with Bubble Splash. This will cause him to shoot a flame fist which players should jump over then hit him with yet another Bubble Splash. This will force Flame Stag to repeat his actions which allows players to easily defeat him.
