The Lost Child will be released in the West this summer – New trailer

It has now been announced by NIS that they will be releasing The Lost Child in the West this Summer. It is coming to the Switch, PlayStation 4 & PS Vita consoles.

The Lost Child is coming to the West in the summer.

In The Lost Child, the protagonist is Hayato Ibuki, a journalist for an occult magazine. When investigating a mysterious suicide at Shinjuku Station he meets a mysterious black figure that tries to kill him. A girl named Balucia saves him and gives him a large case containing a demon gun named Gangour. Hayato can use the gun to capture demons and turn them into his allies. It reminds me of the Shin Megami Tensei games, which is no bad thing. Check out the latest trailer below.

There are over 100 different Astrals to catch. The Astrals also have different forms to evolve, which sounds a bit like Pokémon. There will also be over 100 different dungeon levels to descend through in this RPG, so there’s a lot to keep you busy.

The Lost Child

You will be able to fight alongside your captured Astrals. The topless guy is actually an Astral called Enoch, who was also in the El Shaddai game.

The Lost Child is developed by Kadokawa Games, who also made El Shadddai. I really like the look of this one. How about you?
