Just a couple of days until Lords of the Fallen, the 2023 reboot finally releases for all. A new trailer celebrating the launch holds nothing back, teasing some creepy-looking bosses ready to put players through their paces. The video also is cryptically narrated, enough to outline a little lore but not giving away too much storywise.

In case you missed it, Lords of the Fallen arrives on October 13th. It’s a reboot of the original game of the same name but set a thousand years after the events of the first. This means you don’t have to have played the first game, as this is a very different setting. The visceral combat pits players against horrific beasts, towering foes and has a unique setting of two realms. Players will get to discover the world of the living Axiom and fall into the world of dead Umbral.

Hexworks and CI Games have also released some stunning new screenshots featuring the worlds, Pieta, as well as some of the enemies.

Both worlds feature their own pathways, characters and loot. This means you will have different experiences depending on which world you are exploring. In order to travel into Umbral players will use a lamp. As a Lampbearer players can also peek into the world, shining light into the unseen while still in the land of the living. Sounds intricate, if you’re curious to learn about the dual worlds we have a whole LOTF preview which goes over the game’s souls-like combat, magic, progression and more.

Lords of the Fallen will launch on October 13th for PC, Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Be sure to drop by our LOTF wiki for all the latest on bosses, weapons, armor and more.
