Light of Motiram Gameplay
Alongside the announcement of these new platforms, the game’s developersโChinese studio Aurora Studio and publisher Polaris Quest, a subsidiary of Tencent Gamesโhave unveiled the first gameplay footage and an in-depth trailer showcasing this ambitious adventure.
Set on a post-apocalyptic Earth where humanity has vanished and massive mechanical beasts, known as mechanimals, dominate the wild, Light of Motiram invites players into an open-world RPG filled with exploration, danger, and mystery.
Players will journey across vast and exotic landscapes, including lush rainforests, arid deserts, and snowy peaks, uncovering ancient ruins and unraveling the secrets of Motiram. The debut gameplay video highlights the game’s striking resemblance to PlayStationโs Horizon series.
Realistic Construction Mechanics
Survival is at the core of the gameplay, requiring players to confront primitive cultures, endure harsh climates, and face the relentless threat of mechanimals. Every decision mattersโfrom gathering resources to battling challenging bosses.
The game’s construction system emphasizes physics-based realism. Players can design structures from scratch, whether a sturdy fortress or a clever shelter. Each structural element adheres to real-world physical laws, adding a strategic and creative dimension to building.
Fast-Paced Combat and Mechanimals
Combat in Light of Motiram is fast and dynamic, emphasizing skillful dodging, blocking, and counterattacking. Mechanimals play a pivotal role, as they can be tamed and customized to assist in combat or enhance resource production.
With over 100 different mechanimals, each featuring unique abilities, players can tailor their companions to suit their needs. Additionally, the game will include a cooperative mode supporting up to ten players.
A new trailer showcasing these features has also been released, providing an in-depth look at the gameโs mechanics and world-building.
