Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino spoke about the Nintendo Switch in an interview that was published by Nikkei Trendy and translated by Gematsu.

“Basically, in the future our main titles will all be released on Nintendo Switch. The idea is that what we have created for 3DS will move over to Switch.”

They developed Yo-Kai Watch, Professor Layton, and Ni No Kuni. The studio’s first title for Switch is The Snack World: Trejarers Gold, which launches on April 12 in Japan.

Level-5‘s latest game, Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, was released last week for PlayStation 4 and PC. So, could we see a port of Ni No Kuni II for Nintendo Switch? Or maybe we’ll see Ni No Kuni III on Nintendo Switch? Watch this space.
