With recent news of inXile Entertainment being acquired by Microsoft has left fans wondering what the future holds in terms of platforms for their games such as Wasteland 3 and The Bard’s Tale IV: Barrow’s Deep. In a recent tweet they explain that these titles will still be on multiple platforms.
inXile Assures Wasteland 3 and The Bard’s Tale IV Will Continue to be Multiplatform
These two titles have a strong relationship with fans as many have helped backed them through crowdfunding, when they were still in development. In a recent tweet inXile Entertainment try to assure nervous consumers who wonder what this will hold for their availability of games in terms of platforms:
We’re keeping our backer commitments for BT4 and WL3. Beyond that, it’s hard to say. It’s still very early in this new relationship.

According to this tweet they will continue to offer their backers what they promised. Hopefully the same goes for those who are awaiting The Bard’s Tale IV on other platforms such as console and Mac.
The Bard’s Tale 4 is available to play PC and is coming to Mac, Xbox One, and PS4 in the future. Wasteland 3 is slated to release next year in 2019 for PC, Mac, Xbox One, and PS4.
