If anyone’s interested I could show you the ropes, I’ve played since release.

The game itself is actually really good, especially if you’re into medieval fighting. The combat system is intuitive and flows really well, the graphics are objectively amazing and the style is almost perfect for me. It is being overshadowed by massive problems though: Connectivity has not improved since the beta (I think it has actually gotten worse because less players), it has Ubisoft money schemes in it until it overflows and there are balance issues (think cartus curved sword pre nerf).

The worst offender, the connectivity is something that’s going to be adressed via dedicated servers at an unannounced date (probably next spring I guess). And if you can live with microtransactions (which are only cosmetically anyway) then you should consider trying out the free weekend. I wouldn’t recommend buying it at this moment, but if you enjoy it you should keep a look out for dedicated server news and consider buying it then.
