Upcoming Harry Potter world-based RPG Hogwarts Legacy is now sitting at number one for the most wishlisted game on Steam.

Hogwarts Legacy Becomes Most Wishlisted Game on Steam

Hogwarts Legacy has now jumped to the top of the wish list on Steam according to the latest numbers. The open-world RPG which will be launching in February has now beaten the open-world MMO survival game The Day Before, Bethesda’s sci-fi RPG Starfield and the loveable party game, Party Animals in most wishlisted. The game currently has over 252,000 followers following the title on the Steam platform alone.

But that isn’t the only milestone for the wizarding title, is also now in the top 10 for best-selling titles on the platform. Last week Steam Deck was in the top spot, followed by Action-RPG Elden Ring which sits in second place. This is followed by Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, then by Hogwarts Legacy with pre-orders. Behind that is Cyberpunk 2077.

This might be a surprise for some, but HP fans have been long waiting for a game like this. Let’s hope it lives up to the high expectations and hype.

In case you missed it Hogwarts Legacy got a showcase in December featuring brooms, the Dark Arts as well as the Room of Requirement in December.

Hogwarts Legacy will be releasing PC, Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on February 10th. For consoles Playstation 4 and Xbox One on April 4th, with Switch releasing on July 25th.
