Have a Nice Death A 2D Action Roguelite Gets New Trailer

The indie 2D action roguelite Have a Nice Death has a new trailer titled ‘New Hire Orientation’ which goes over what it will be like for players playing the role of Death himself.

Have a Nice Death A 2D Action Roguelite Gets New Trailer

Have a Nice Death a new 2D action roguelite will be releasing into Steam Early Access this March, putting players into the unusual role of Death. In the latest trailer, we get a look at what it will be like as a new hire working for Death Incorporated.

Scyths, rocket launchers and more are available to the Sorrows back in their place.

The trailer goes over the points of the job, which includes putting the Sorrows back in their place. Sorrows were created by death to help out, but they’ve gone rogue and you will need to help round them up, to stop them wreaking havoc as they’ve gone a bit out of control and forgotten whose boss.

Players will have a number of weapons and spells at their disposal, meaning playstyle will have some flexibility, as you fight not only disease but pollution, addiction and more. Use rocket launches, spears and much more to defeat the Sorrows.

Have a Nice Death sets to be a cute but deadly roguelite sidescroller that will let players explore a 2D world, not too dissimilar to Hollow Knight or even Dead Cells. There are also other interesting mechanics along the way such as Curses. Gaining news powers means your subordinates may also gain enhanced powers or the cost of items may also increase.

Developer Magic Design Studios is releasing the game in Early Access, but has plans to include more storylines, new worlds, enemies, bosses and new weapons with the full launch. Have a Nice Death might be a good option while we wait for for more news on Hollow Knight Silksong.

Have a Nice Death will release into Steam Early Access on March 8th.
