CD Projekt Red has announced that a server stress test for their upcoming Gwent game will occur on Friday, September 23rd fromĀ 5 PM – 9 PM CEST (11 AM – 3 PM EST) and again on Tuesday, September 27th from 8 PM – 12 AM CEST (2 PM – 6 PM EST). The stress test will occur on PC only.

This is an incomplete content build that is designed to test the functionality of the servers, so featuresĀ like deck building and progress saving will not be present. Entry to the test will be on a first come, first serve basis, and CD Projekt Red will be making the codes available tomorrow the 22nd via social media on Twitter and Facebook. Players who gain access to the server test do not gain automatic entry to the upcoming closed beta onĀ October 25th, but CD Projekt Red has assured us that there will be many spaces available for the beta.

We got to play Gwent at E3 and Gamescom and had a blast with it. Check out our hands on preview and our interview withĀ Development Director Ben Lee and Animator Brad AutyĀ for insights into how the game is changing from it’s existence within The Witcher games.
