Dark Souls 3 took home the highest accolade, winning the Ultimate Game of the Year Award, which for many fans is the franchise receiving it’s due, this author included. \0/ The final entry in From Software’s dark fantasy series was a brutal and satisfying sendoff that brought the series home. See our review for what we thought of it! Congratulations to From Software and director Hidetaka Miyazaki on a job well done!

The Witcher 3’s final expansion Blood and Wine took home several awards of its own, extending the domination of CD Projekt Red’s masterpiece who also won Studio of the Year honors. Here’s hoping for more of the same from Cyberpunk 2077!

^ i’m with Fex. I was totally sure uncharted would get most. Cool to see souls games finally get the recognition it deserves.
Yay for some souls love!
I’m a bit surprised uncharted didn’t get as many of the big categories. I suppose that we’ve seen it all by now, but it’s still a really excellent game that I feel did better than other nominees. But well, RPGs win so yay
My Playstation game of the year is Ratchet and Clank. My ultimate game of the year is between DOOM, Ratchet and Clank, and Uncharted 4.
Also, isn’t Rise of the Tomb Raider supposed to be a multi platform soon?
