Ghost of Tsushima: Legends Will Not Have Microtransactions

Sucker Punch Production this week announced a new mode would be coming to the samurai adventure Ghost of Tsushima called Legends, adding a co-op multiplayer that would allow a group of up to 4 to take on new challenges. In a recent interview with IGN, the developer was asked about whether there would be microtransactions within this free addition. The devs confirmed there wouldn’t be any content which would involve microtransactions.

There are no microtransactions in Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, and we have absolutely no plans to add them. All of the content is unlocked through play.

Those who already own the game will receive this mode for free as an update which will be released in fall. Players will need a Playstation Plus subscription as this involves multiplayer content.

Players will get to pick from four character classes: Samurai, Hunter, Ronin and Assassin
