Hello, True Believers. A new Marvel RPG is out today called Marvel Strike Force – and it won’t cost you a penny to download it. Excelsior!
Marvel Strike Force is out today for smartphones
It’s an all-new mobile game for Android and iOS devices. Marvel Strike Force is the first game to be developed by FoxNet Games. It’ll allow players to engage in various battles using more than 70 of Marvel’s most iconic characters. In addition to the obvious choices such as Iron Man and Captain America, FoxNet notes that the roster “reaches far beyond comics, movies and TV shows.” Check out the official game trailer.
Jay Ong, Senior Vice President of Games & Innovation at Marvel Entertainment had this to say about Marvel Strike Force:
“MARVEL Strike Force perfectly demonstrates how we use games as a driver of the Marvel brand. Featuring a wholly original storyline that has gamers mixing and matching Super Heroes and Super Villains in never-before-seen alliances, this game is authentically Marvel and one of our most highly-anticipated projects this year.” – Jay Ong, Senior Vice President of Games & Innovation at Marvel Entertainment.
Marvel Strike Force tasks you with going up against the villain Ultimus and his Kree army. Along the way you’ll build the strongest team or heroes possible. You’ll also want to upgrade your characters and collect powerful equipment.
So, will Marvel Strike Force turn out to be a Mighty Thor of a game or is it going to be more in Squirrel Girl’s league? Time will tell. Which hero or villain would you like to be in this game? Please comment below and let us know.
