So what does it mean “gone gold”? It’s an industry term coined from the term “gold master” which means that a software is ready for release. After four years of hard work Detroit: Become Human is ready to ship and launch but we’ll have to wait for the official release date.

However, good news as the demo is going to be made available tomorrow on the PS Store, the demo will go live at 12:01 am ET, April 24th. You will be able to experience Hostage, the first scenario in the game which has been shown at a few different events. The official release of Detroit: Become Human is on May 25 exclusively to Playstation 4.

  1. I loved the demo! We did a family thing and watched each other’s choices to see several solutions. Really enjoyed it and looking forward to playing the whole game that way.

  2. I played the demo. A radically different kind of game. The demo is very short so everyone should try it. You can replay with different choices. I liked it.

  3. Agreed. Unfortunate timing but I’m going to go with Become Human because I want to stay ahead of spoilers in story-driven games. I already know DS1 and am already planning a couple suicide runs to get good gear early. Ooop, almost-spoiler!

  4. I’m quite looking forward to this title and hopelessly conflicted that it coincides with the launch of Dark Souls Remastered
