Can this spell kill you? If not, can you cast it if it's gonna leave you with 1 HP? Also, can it be coupled with Red Tearstone ring?
It can kill you
It drains 30% of your Maximum HP, so if you take damage while it's active it can kill you if you get too low. It's not an issue if you don't plan on being hit, however.

Oh uhm, I forgot... what the heck does "additional modifier = 0.94*damage" mean? Am I dumb or does it decrease your damage output in PvP by 6%? It... Might be better to... clarify?
It's badly worded, just like the other times this multiplier is mentioned in the wiki. In PvP it's your damage value * 1.2 * 0.94. Basically in PvP it's 1.128 or +12.8% damage.
Drains 30% of your Maximum HP when used over the course of 30 seconds. If you have 1000 HP, you will lose 10 HP a second. However, this can be partially ignored by wearing the Lingering Dragoncrest Ring +2, which extends the spell effect to 42 seconds, thus making the damage accumulate, or "tick", slower. This is probably the best Body Buff in the game, as it gives you the greatest damage buff, while also making your Stamina regenerate much more quickly. The downside is negligible if you have some form of Health Regeneration, if you even care to lose 30% of your maximum life over 42 seconds. After all, the downside doesn't even matter if you never get hit, so go wild and use this instead. It has low requirements, so most builds will be able to use it fairly easily.

9/10, the most impactful Body Buff in the game. Actually gives you a decent damage buff, and extra Stamina Regeneration, with a minimal drawback.
the power within...
So basically this spell is just causing the casters body to have something like a controlled adrenaline rush, but the strain from being in this state is slowly injuring them due to removing all of the normal "blocks" needed to prevent the body from over-stressing itself???
It's forcibly doping, enhancing power at the cost of life
akin to lighting ur insides on fire and then fighting with ur newly found adrenaline, good thing its the semi safe magical fire and not the OH FCKN GOD IM DYING kinda fire
I think it's because its akin to the whole darksouls lore on it being a blazing soul. You are increasing your own flame becoming like a lord of cinder bossing its effects of power.
It's like adding the effect of the lord of cinder to the body and/boosting the effect to the max. Or think of it as opening your chakra gates. But lore wise it makes sense as the flame is simply the souls ablaze but this is an unnatural way to be embered so it harms you like the witches found out leading to the chaos flame and demon race.
Dislike if you like dark souls 2
I combined this with a heavy mace + blessed weapon + sun princess ring + ethereal oak shield and filianore WA to offset the HP loss. It's monsterous. Killed a lot of players in just a couple of hits.
No stat requirements + huge stamina recovery. Best spell in the game for "Running through". ie if you are trying to smurf or get +2 equipment
