Holy hell, this is a good example of fake news. Berkeley protests turned violent, one protester was filmed putting M80 firecrackers into glass bottles, lighting them, and throwing them into a crowd. Retired Marine tackled the lady, punched her in the face, and disarmed a threat. The lady was making IEDs, and had even posted on Facebook her intent to "get Nazi scalps" at the protest.
Who ends up the victim? Yeah, that's right, the one who was actively trying to injure order people. And the retired Marine is accused by the media of being a "white nationalist" and "served time for armed robbery" with zero evidence to prove those claims.
And Facebook tells me it knows how to spot fake news, and wants to help me spot it too. Hah.
Rhetorical question: if you go to a protest and hide your face, attack other people, and generally are not a peaceful protest because you attack people, what makes you think you have the right of free speech and peaceful assembly?
Gah I'm glad these idiots don't live anywhere near me.
This is why I typically hate listening to news nowadays. I can't trust anything people say anymore cause of the evident political and social bias, or just plain corruption.Thankfully, I out in the country, so I don't have to deal with any of this stuff. I'd say stay out of sight, out of mind, and out of the way, cause this crazy train doesn't look like it's stopping any time soon. Kinda fun to watch though, if it wasn't so bad.
Normality is a banality. Reality is a fallacy. Alter your perception, open your mind, and expand your world...with odd thoughts, eccentric beliefs, and an eldritch imagination.
