Just wondering, I've been playing a new ME1 game to import it in ME2, and just finished Feros.

In my journal I still have the Feros: Geth in the Tunnels quest shown as incomplete, and it's the first time I ever see that happen. The journal specifies that I still have to report to Fai Dan about the destroyed Geth Transmitter, but I destroyed it, and I clearly remember destroying it by shooting at it with my pistol just a few times, as I usually do. I think - I'm not sure really - that I never went back to him to report about it and simply kept moving on and fought the Geth until I finished the whole mission by killing the Thorian and saving the Colonists prior to that as well (all of them). At the end of the mission Fai Dan commits suicide, so I could never "report" to him, obviously it has to be done while he's still alive, but I never thought that the mission status would bug out in the journal because of that.

So is that a known bug or is there any other way I can complete it?

Thanks.

You have to report back to him. If you don't, it will stay in your journal.

Yeah, well it sucks because he's dead, heh. I'll remember next time, reporting to him about it before resuming any further against the Geth... still I think that BioWare should fix it, you know... some suspension of disbelief on their path wouldn't hurt, just assuming I did report to Fai Dan before he killed himself and making the mission entirely completed.

I always report all the tunnel quests before heading out to the skyway (since some of the quest givers can get killed when you return).

I made twice this same mistake not to report destroyed transmitter before heading to ExoGeni so that quest remain incompleted in my journal.

Now i always returned to Fai Dan and report destroying transmitter before moving forward.

They should give you the option to tell him after he commits suicide. Posted Image

A bug implies that a mistake was made in the coding. I think in this case it's simply bad timing: don't report to Fai Dan immediately or the next event triggers news of his suicide and you missed your chance. Kind of annoying to have that sitting around as an unfinished mission, but ehh, I got over it.

I don't even understand why it wasn't an option to send one of those anti-Thorian gas grenades at him. It worked on every single colonist and I still had some left over.
