"After you unlock them, the Blacksmith will be your crafting NPC for Weapons and Armor. " He doesn't craft anything. He only repairs, salvages and upgrades. No crafting at all

Found a scorpion gland quest that gave me a recipe for a Elixir. 1st crafting recipe i've found. any others?

am I missing a quest? blacksmith doesn't appear to craft anything, and I don't have any obvious quests to unlock crafting.
