the description of the item says it has a healing effect when tied to a weapon... does this mean that it heals you upon landing hits?

Yes. It revives a quarter of a heart for every hit. Just tested it out myself. Very useful in combat for bosses are harder enemies.

yea, i know the scale restores 1/4 hearts per hit, but idk if the scales up with its better drops

I put one on my master sword but it doesnt seem to do anything, is it just the master sword canceling the effect do you think?
