Just like the innocent maggots, and Myla, if you kill Menderbug you are a horrible person. I refuse to do so. You don’t actually need to kill him to complete the Hunter’s Journal. And why would you? He’s not hostile or Infected - he’s just a humble, timid little carpenter. Team Cherry is sick in the head for requiring you to kill the innocent harmless, frightened maggots, or even encouraging/allowing you to kill them, Myla, Menderbug, and the Nailsmith.

I love menderbug so much. But on my first Playthrough I was geo Grinding and I came to the sign room and and accidentally shot vengeful spirit. Then I Saw Menderbugs corpse and cryed

First time killing menderbug:
Crystal dashing through sign room.
*hits something, and then proceeds to stop*

*New journal unlock*
