Agreed, this is inaccurate info. I farmed this staff at the place above and confirmed this is medium shield.

Are you Sure? None of these beastman carry shields, don���t they need to carry one to be able to drop one?

yes, the one patrolling around the room has a jar shield you can see easily, the sleeping one does not. you can kill the patrolling beastman and go back and rest. took me about 10 minutes for 3 weapons and 1 jar shield.

Yeah just note it's the Beast Grave Depths, not regular Beast Grave.

There are quite a few of the beastmen carrying this shield around in Crumbling Farum Azula. It's virtually impossible to not encounter them at all

Look for the guys carrying them. Kill those until one of them drops the shield. It's roughly a 1 in 50 chance of dropping (unless you raise discovery stat with Arcane), so good luck.

Should have been a Great-Jar shield.
