2 of these with holy cracked tear, holy scorpion charm, and golden vow is an absolute blender in PVP. You can also carry a cipher pata in your second weapon slot so you get that running poke to chase people down. A very very strong weapon for pure faith builds

Got repeatedly blasted out of existence by an invader dual-wielding these. Hated it.

This is why you should carry a parrying tool at all times.

“This is why you should carry a parrying tool at all times.”

You can’t parry coded sword or cipher pata

Fun fact: If you use the weapon art "Lion's Claw" with your main weapon while holding the Coded Sword on your offhand, you will perform the skill while holding both weapon. PS.: This doesn't add any extra damage, just a cool little visual bug that i really hope they don't patch.

This also happens, if you use a cast "Scouring Black Flame" with your other hand. You still wield the Sword while haveing a Black Flame in both hands. Maybe other incatation and sorceries have it as well.

Please address the fact it is not parryable unless using rolling or sprinting attacks

Wouldn't making it parryable remove the "Unblockable Blade" part of this sword? Or do you mean when not using this weapon art?

Really? I'll have to try that.

The fact that undead don't stay dead when killed with this is nonsense.

It's either a bug or an awful design choice.

If any of the holy weapons do anything to undead I can't figure out how. :(

Literally just hit them again. This ain’t a dark souls game it doesn’t follow dark souls undead enemy logic

But hit undead with holy weapons/attacks generally does in fact full-kill them unless a necromancer enemy is resurrecting them. Like if the last hit is the beam from Holy Blade, they go poof. No need to hit them again.

Sacred Order works wonders, use it on a blunt weapon and those skeletons are done without requiring a follow-up hit. This doesn't work with all Holy attacks, just those designed to fight Those Who Live in Death, and some Golden Order stuff. Just check out the description

I guess the words of the fingers aren’t so righteous after all. <(“<)

Holy damage perse doesn't have this effect. In most cases it just deals more damage. It is just a special effect on some weapon (like Golden Epitah and Golden Arrows) or Incantation like Sacred order that cancels the revive of skeletons.

At +10 and 80 Faith, it gets +338 from scaling. Total AR of 546 Holy damage.
