think its active for about 35s but the dps of this thing is insane. With the talisman that boosts incantations and 35 faith i tick around 60hp per second which is pure passive dmg. You can literally just roll and still kill bosses with this

After some quick testing it seems to do a flat amount of damage to enemies not based on scaling or incant boosting talismans. You also need to stick fairly close to targets for it affect them. I caught a land octopus in west Limgrave for nearly the entire duration (not including initial blast) in the rain for 1234 damage before it wore off.
One interesting note is the damage afflicted to the user can be out-healed by some of the stronger regen incantations, which you can have active simultaneously with this spell.

Apparently this spell ALSO has a hidden (unintentional?) effect that applies your weapon's passive to the AoE, so if you combine this with the Eclipse Shotel (after using the weapon skill) you get a Deathblight-inducing invisible AoE around your character to instantly kill people with just by walking near them.

i dont think you can if you do the maiden cauldron part of the quest because the capital doesnt let you go to the same place

Currently there is a bug with this and the eclipse shotel. Use the eclipse shotel weapon art and the curse effect is transferred to the spell's aoe, causing you to deal curse buildup in an aoe around you.
