Hes not immune to scarlet rot, worked pretty well on him did about 40-50 damage a second for 2 minutes with the Scorpions Stinger +9. It took about as long to apply the rot to him as it did to bleed him with claws

Yeah if you don't have any striking weapons available, this is the way. I used double Uchigatana and the hits themselves did nothing to him but the bleeding hurt him really bad.

Night's Cavalry Flail, and just hold RT while on Torrent near his legs. And laugh your *** off while he takes thousands of damage during it. This is one boss i didnt feel the SLIGHTEST bit bad 'cheesing', because more than 50% of his attacks can 1hko, at 45 vigor in full Bull Armor.

sometimes the frostbite out of nowhere feels unfair because i can’t see anything and the tell is hard to read for that move, so you could be like 3 hits away and then poof youre done because all enveloping undodgeable fog

No, the unfair part is when you're attacking his legs/wings during an 'aoe roar' and he decides to pull a supernova out of his *** and 0hko. But yes, i agree that him being able to aimbot you (hell i died to him before i even knew where he was the first time i saw the hp bar.. aimbot straight frost breath while on horseback, fell off, died. ngl i love the fall down mechanic off a horse lmfao.. its a guaranteed kill for any riposte enemy)
