On my RL1+0 run, I found that the easiest way to kill her (for me anyway) is using Golden Parry.

Gear is this: any weapon and armor allowing light rolls + Assassin's Cerulean Dagger talisman to sustain the Golden Parry spam + Ritual Shield talisman to make the fight a bit more forgiving + any other two talismans.

Strat is basically to stay at the Golden Parry range and parry three moves:
- lounging attacks,
- black flame bolts (your parry needs to hit her arm, not the projectile),
- dragging sweeps.

When she does the jumping attack (not Destined Death), roll behind her and backstab.
When she does literally anything else - don't think, just roll back.

Hi, I'm terrible at this game but beat this boss on 4th go using Stormcaller with a Halberd and Cold affinity (Banished Knight's) - She's not immune to frostbite which when procs slows her down. Stay at a distance when she runs towards you and gets near start the Stormcaller - if it connects press 2 more times and it will knock her down every time.. Don't go in when she is down, instead move at a distance, let her get up and repeat. However sometimes she jumps back when Stormcaller starts so only press once and reset position.

Tried over and over and adulas moonblade was about the only thing that got close after dozens of tries. But I was still only getting her down to a third health at best. I switched to cannon of haima and that knocked her over every hit. I stayed close so she wouldn't dodge as much and just kept up the pressure and finally defeated her

hilarious reading all these "just use this endgame item..." for an encounter you can easily meet before even reaching Altus. Yeah, I'm sure it's super simple when you're over-leveled and over-geared.

Moonlight Altar is a lategame area. You can go straight to Dragonbarrow from Limgrave too, that doesn't mean that's the intended scaling or difficulty of the area.

Lategame? You’re trifling right now.

Yo that combo chart looks...intense. I actually enjoy fighting Alecto. It's like a dance to me.

I beat this boss in the most boring way possible. Fire a wave of transient moonlight as she comes in charging, then two quick attacks at most, followed by dodging backwards. Rise and repeat. Once you get greater understanding of her attack patterns, you can do this repeatedly very quickly, leading to her stance getting broken and thus even more damage.

Literally just Carian Piercer, like most enemies if you just press L1 their AI has no clue how to handle it and just sits there staring at you while you flask or charge the spell. With good mind/dmg you can stunlock her to death. Be careful as if you give her even a second she can 'side-step' which has hyper-armor, then she will counter-attack. The grab and most moves are easily dodgeable if you need to run a bit to heal/mana. Sidestep her projectile and pray she doesnt use the destined death slam attack.
