A super basic test seems to increase dmg by 10%, so I would presume defense and energy regen would be the same. Lasts 20 seconds or so. Pretty solid for the low fp cost. Cast time is a touch slow but easy to pull off with a bit of space.

Anyone know if this has an Ash of War? The Battle Hammer can have its skill overwritten, so I assume the Ash of War is out there somewhere...

Yeah when doing the side quest for Rya you kill the theif you'll then obtain his weapon which has braggarts roar and you can remove it from his weapon and put it on something else

This one is bad. The bonuses sound nice but they're tiny, seem to last only like 30 seconds, and the animation is so long it's almost impossible to use in the middle of a fight without getting the crap smacked out of you. You can use it before short fights against ordinary enemies and enjoy the boost, but it's practically useless in a boss fight. Replace this with almost anything else.

Can be acquired by acquiring the Iron Ball weapon. The Iron Ball drops from an npc at Boilprawn Shack, he sells a necklace for a quest and unlimited prawn. You also get his bell bearing for killing him and can keep buying unlimited prawn at the Roundtable.

By killing him at the Boilprawn Shack you miss out on being able to buy the enhanced edition of Boiled Prawn, Boiled Crab for the same exact price later in the game

Using this also changes both the charged and uncharged R2 attacks of my scythe, dunno what it does for other weapons though

upon further testing it only affects the R2 attacks when 2 handed (and the attacks aren't really that good), also it can't be used with incantations like Electrify Armament or any grease, if I use the incantation/grease and then the roar it gets rid of the lightning/grease effect and vice versa. So the damage boost most times isn't worth it when you can use an incantation or a grease and free up the ash of war slot
