No you can only purchase one, was wondering the same thing. The only way to obtain another is by getting someone to drop one for you online.

Running an Alchemist build with this as a hard hitting backup and it's fantastic, don't sleep on this thing, it does pretty good damage with warcry on it and can break postures quite often with how quickly you can pull off combos, with generously fast attack animations that let you roll right afterwards.

I assume an Alchemist build would be one that makes heavy use out of crafting items (Pots, Darts, Greases) and/or status ailments.

Thought this was an Octopath Traveler reference for a second b/c the Apothecary class in that game uses a hatchet and item crafting for damage

Used this for my axe murderer, The range isn’t great but fast swings can be unexpected, people with low poise can be easily stunned out of a running attack.

one of my most favorite weapons in DS3, it still holds the greatness in this game. For some bosses however... Fighting minor erdtree with this weapon makes this game a true rpg, with the axe having a 33% miss rate. Don't know how they managed to make short range weapons that much worse, you have to adjust yourself to the sides of the boss to consistently land every hit, no matter how close you are.

Bosses having collision boxes greater than their hitbox was really a 9000 IQ move.
