It probably did, it just went off as you blink

Its extremly good against certain foes it seems... burns high health mobs for a ton of hp

If you've learned a boss's attack patterns well, you can use it consistently right at the moment they're vulnerable for a second or two and get in a few hits. It melts HP. It's worth it man, the issue is you're not good at getting off the hits while it lasts. It's powerful, that's why it doesn't last long. If you pull it off and land two heavy strikes with it, it will absolutely chunk boss HP.

It's usable in the rare instance where you've learned a boss's attack patterns well and position yourself to take advantage. It requires skill to use -- and damage is substantial.

Try bumping up your faith and strength, upgrading Clawmark Seal to +16 (brings scaling bonuses up from D to B), and then testing damage.
