It's a shame. It's such a good Moveset otherwhise. Faints, cool backstep attacks, slashing and poking attacks (estoc), good jumping attacks.... and people use qs R1..

pvp is part of the game

Thrusting swords are really only interesting in PVP. The unique heavy attack backstep is useless in PVE, I mean who're you trying to pull mindgames on? Just spam attack till they're dead. You can mix stuff in, sure. But in PVP you can actually use options to potentially effect other players. Because they're people. Not AI.

tbh a lot of the other light classes should have had fast movesets like these. beyond WA's and fringe cases they're in a weird limbo right now

As a mage i can confirm these are a counter to my magic, though zamor ice storm is my usual answer to them, its why i went hybrid with wing of astel and Loretta war glaive.
