Looks amazing from the front, but there's something weirdly unfashionable about the back of the chestpiece, anyone else feel the same way? I think it's the shape of the shoulder mantle.

This 100%. This has slightly lower physical resist but everything else is plain better.

this is just a fancier version of the knight set all around. however i would say fingerprint is still the best "knight" armor set.

maybe I'm blind, but is teleporting or a weird glitched cliff fall the only way to escape the area you pick up the set from?

There's a path you can take on the right side.

If you're looking back at the cliff you jumped down from to the altar , there is a path on the right side that loops back around to a cave on the left wall. This brings you back to the graveyard
