This is especilly effective considering the damage dealt to adjacent enemies can not be dodged with AC or any kinds of "-hit chance" abbilties.

Disgustingly good. Lets you bypass crazy high AC of some enemies just by hitting a lower AC target next to them. The wide sweep feature doesn't need an attack roll to hit secondary targets lol

You can use this to the end of the game, just keep the character buffed with greater magic weapon and angelic weapon (or other alignment changing buff) and you're golden. Also, use this in a full BAB character, because you gotta swing a lot considering it does not use sheak attack damage for the AoE damage.
